A storyteller on the page and on stage.
The Cow and the Elephant — written by Marni Raab, illustrated by Andy Ray
When two friends borrow a toy and it gets stuck high above, they must think outside the box and work together to bring it back down.
Cow and Elephant borrow Mel's beloved squeaky toy without asking — and their excitement quickly turns to worry when the toy gets lodged on the roof. With Mel feeling upset, the two friends know they need to act fast. They enlist help from across the animal kingdom, and each character brings their own skills to the table as they brainstorm solutions together.
Told in vibrant illustrations and engaging rhyme, Mel's Tales encourages young readers to think creatively, cooperate, and embrace the joy of solving problems together — a charming adventure perfect for storytime or independent reading.
